Logo Design
Logo design is part of branding.
I design custom made logos which are easily recognisable and adaptable. They fit the many requirements of logo displays digitally (e.g. for websites or social) and for printed items (such as packaging, apparel, stationary & business).
Below you will find a selection of logo design examples.

The objective was to create a brand name and product design for an organic juice company.
The theme of the visual identity is freshness.

This juice is organic and cold pressed, containing a maximum of 3 ingredients. The initial line is apple, carrot and ginger but open to other flavours. The wholesome theme is underlined through the hint of ginger.
It comes in a recyclable 330 ml glass bottle and can be reused in countries with a bottle deposit scheme.
This places the product in the premium snack market with placement in the chilled section for people who value a nutritious drink with their food on the go, after exercising or as a thirst quencher.
Ruby, Morena, Milly, Trio Juice were among brainstormed names. The juice needed a name that signified the freshness but also that it’s tasty and fun to have not just an organic fruit juice but fruit combined with vegetables.
I found ‘fresh’ in Danish and Swedish translated as ‘frisk’ and checked the innuendo ‘frisky’ in English with the Oxford Dictionary: ‘full of energy, playful, lively, merry’ which suited the product well.
frisky
[ ˈfrɪs.ki ]
full of energy, playful, lively, merry, a spring in your step.
Inspiration for the vector design was drawn from a moodboard with mainly coloured juice labels. In order not to compete with the same “loudness” the design has been paired back using a simple organic font complemented with a pattern of illustrated ingredients as an energetic element. This is to underline the frisky meaning. Simple and colourful illustrations emphasise an organic no nonsense no additives message.

As an organic fruit and veg juice in a glass bottle, natural colours fitted the theme best. The simple but playful fruit and veg illustrations are based on a 3 tone scheme with tints.
According to EU label regulations, the label must clearly show to the consumer what the product is as well as grasping the content. I therefore kept the labelling simple and integrated ‘Organic Juice’ into the logo. naming the ingredients.

Planted Pretty is a plant pot shop that handpaints the most beautiful pots for your plants to sit in.

I started sketching with a plant pot in mind but this idea was too obvious and focused more on finding a flowing script or handwritten font.
Because the plants pots are adorned with illustrated patterns I was looking more for a sturdy but still stylised font. The leaf at the end of the logo signifies the potted plant.

Creating a brand with a logo using a given colour palette.
This brand offers a variety of planners and journals for everyday use.
Brand Attributes:
Empowering – Relaxing – Sustainable
The naming challenge: It needed to be a word which is easy to pronounce in English. After researching the meaning of possible names like juba, jari, tamu, skriba, jubi, I settled on ‘Tulis’. It is Malay for to write, book, blank book for correspondence, handwritten and therefore a fitting name for the brand purpose.
The left cap of the T symbolises the tail of the leopard and is repeated in the round logomark symbolising writing different round strokes with a fountain pen.

Creating a visual identity for ‘Half Full’, a reusable water bottle company.
They required packaging design, a logo and variations as well as billboards.
Brand Attributes:
Positivity – Optimism – Change

The brand’s main focus is sustainability and to encourage change in a fun and colourful way.
I wanted to show the positive meaning of being optimistic i.e. see the world through a half full glass but not in the obvious way. I sketched glasses or bottles but it didn’t spark any modern appeal. I also tried different variations of showing water with drops or waves but decided in the end for a simple clean circle with the water half full.
For the drop design on the glass bottle range, I turned the circles 180 degrees because they then appeared as smilies encouraging a positive and fun feeling. The opaque fill colour is at the half point of the bottle but the bottom is left see through. It indicates when it is time to fill up the glass bottle again.
For the font I was looking for a sans serif modern font which represents a full character. As I was comparing font choices Arial’s boldness stood out. Even though it is associated with MS Office spreadsheets it fitted, however I wanted the fun character to come through so I rounded the edges and swapped the square dots of Arial with a round circle to tie in with the round logomark icon.
